18″ Timber Ridge All Around Trail Saddle

If you told us this saddle was a Dakota, we’d believe you! What we could have sworn was a Dakota is actually a saddle made by Timber Ridge Saddle Company, a now closed saddle maker. This is actually a US made saddle! This one does have a bit of mid-line quality saddle feel and construction, but is better than economy! This saddle offers a very deep and well padded seat-fitting true to 18″ making this saddle plus size ridder friendly. Lighter weight as its built on ralide tree, on Semi bars that measure 6″ with nice shoulder flare, moderate rock to the bars, and offers plenty of clearance. This one will fit an athletic built horse really well. 3″ forward set horn, surprisingly short skirt at just 25″, and fender have an insane amount of adjustment, going crazy long. Stirrups are not original to the saddle, with a pair of roper style brown composite/lightweight stirrups added. Very simple, classic style saddle with shorter, round skirt and slightly dropped rigging. No tooling, all smooth chestnut oiled leather.  The best part is the weight! It weighs in at just 28lbs! Despite being a bit of an older saddle (likely mid/early 2000’s), this saddle is in very well cared condition. Aside from a couple scuffs, and couple minor spots of discoloration-mainly under the jockey at the very top of the fender. Has been in storage for a while, so is a teeny bit dry, but will soften up in no time. At this price, you can’t go wrong!
