18” Frank Baines Balance Zenith Dressage Saddle w/Pad System

This is such a cool saddle. Those riding things shaped as propane tanks with very short backs should take note! Our clients think so too, as the others we’ve had in like this didn’t stick around long. This Balance International saddle is made by Frank Baines Saddlery in the UK and is nothing short of quality. These saddles are bespoke, from the English Saddle Maker capitol of the world, Walsall, UK. The Zenith is designed to be the ultimate dressage saddle that prioritizes comfort, support riders in the dressage ring and very every day riding. This one has a 18″ lower profile seat, fitting true to that measurement, while still offering a very narrow twist. This is truly #landhippo friendly, on an 8X wide and hoop tree, legitimately 8″. The hoop tree is designed for WIDE horses with shorter and lower tree points in the front, offers a very wide channel, and a short panel (19″) to fit those short backed propane tanks out there.  These saddles fitted wider because the front of the tree had more of an open head shape (flared) although the point to point measurements were similar. This saddle has nice knee rolls and has velcro on the flap to add more blocking. Right now, it has a lower/long block. AP billeted with rear angled billet to help reduce the rolling that many saddles experience with wide horses. Wool flocked, narrow/low gussets, and short paneled. Very grippy leather with Nubuck leather over the seat and knee rolls that are butter soft. While this saddle is used, its been incredibly well cared for and show less use than most saddle its age. The leather is incredible soft and billets are in excellent condition. Comes with Balance International’s saddle pad system, that attaches to your everyday pad with velcro. Also comes with its original saddle cover. This saddles are very expensive. Get a lovely used one for a fraction of the retail price!
