18″ Thorowgood T4 Compact Close Contact Saddle

This is such a nice saddle! This one is 18″ and is in brilliant, hardly used condition. Thorowgood saddles have become barn favorites and it is easy to see why! This one is fully synthetic, so no maintenance for care at all! Plus, they offer an adjustable gullet system, with gullets from X-Narrow to XX-Wide. This one comes with a White (XW) gullet and utilizes the R-Bar gullet plates. It is also wool flocked, offering even more adjustability for your horse’s fit, easily supporting rider and horse through plenty of adventures. The T4 Compact was specially designed for short back, flatter horses and ponies. They are incredibly popular among pony, Halfie, and Fjord owners. Would also be a great option for a flat/short back QH, Morgan, Welsh or similar built breed. The Compact is technically an All Purpose saddle, but has all the feel and fit of a Close Contact. Has a forward set flap for jumping, but is still long enough for flat work or dressage. Has velcro patches under the knee roll to add blocks for even more security. AP/Jump saddle billets (short billets) which have been replaced with leather for extra durability. The rear billet is removable/adjustable as well. Is a true 18″ saddle with a more open, hunter style seat. This saddle is in excellent condition, clearly seeing very little use and far more storage–and it’s been stored well!
