Here is a nice correction curb from Myler. HBT Short Shank, pinchless ported joints. This one, while likely a bit older, is in excellent used condition. Sweet iron mouth that rusts to offer a sweet taste for your horse. This one has barely started to rust. 5″ mouth, 2″ port in the MB47 Traditional Correctional Port mouth, and is a level 3 bit with 5 3/4″ HBT shanks. Per Myler:
The MB 47 is a traditional correctional mouthpiece, which has a ported mouthpiece that collapses on to the outer lip and bars, and rotates on to the tongue. The MB 47 is identical to the MB 47PB but lacks Independent Side Movement. Sweet Iron mouthpiece oxidizes and encourages salivation. Mouthpiece has a fixed attachment. The HBT Shank has the patented Independent Swivel Cheek, where the purchase, mouthpiece and shank all move independently of each other. The purchase is slightly angled away from the cheek to avoid rubbing. It has an indirect (curb) rein action designed to be used with a curb strap which attaches to the purchase. The flat shank uses the combination of the fixed cheek and fixed rein to apply pressure to the mouth, chin and poll.
