Vintage Craftool USA R956 Rope Leather Stamping Tool

Nice used vintage, US made Craftool Leather Tools leather stamp. Made after 1968. This stamp is different than some modern stamps of the same number as it has a sharper outer line and smooth interior, with no ‘rope line’ marks. This stamp is for repeating patterns to make a rope or lasso border or details. Stamp number R956. Clear/sharp stamp, stamps evenly, shows normal/less than normal use or wear. May how a minor mark or two on handle from use and storage, does show a small bit of minor surface rust behind the stamp face, but no rust on stamp. Approx. stamp dimensions: 11/32″ x 5/32″.
