This saddle is like your favorite pair of blue jeans…not pretty enough for a fancy event but beyond comfortable and is an immediate boost to your confidence! This lovely older Hereford Pleasure/Trail saddle is an older one, but is just so darn comfy. Technically, this one is a 15″, but with the deeper seat, raised twist, and the nice padding fits closer to 14.5″. On what appears to be QH Bars measuring 7″ with wider flare and fits flatter through the bars. This is a great option for a older style QH type horse, who have a moderate width back, wider shoulder and needing a shorter skirt. This one is surprisingly light as its built on a ralide tree. The faux double skirt helps cut down on weight, too. This is an older saddle, built in 1995 if we are reading the serial number correctly, but has been well cared for. We’ve also gone over this one with a fine tooth come, replacing some loose stitching, a couple screws, and scrubbed the heck out of it. It’s in really good condition overall, especially given it’s age. The leather is quite soft, too! Seriously, this one is like putting on those favorite blue jeans–your bum will look and and be comfortable! At this price, you really can’t go wrong either.
