14.5″ Reinsman Roping Saddle

This Reinsman Roper is the real deal! Heavy duty, well made, and a heck of a look. It can be hard to find a quality roper in a smaller seat…well, this Reinsman is all that and more! This one is a true 14.5″, with a slightly raised twist and moderate height cantle at 3″, fitting very securely. On a wide fitting Full QH Bars that measures 7″ with a very wide flare. This one fits wide and low, with just a bit of rock to the bars. This roper is a great option for thicker, wider built horses. This could easily be an all event saddle, as the jockeys and fenders are roughed out, offering even more security. The fenders are free swinging as well, with a ton of adjustment. Going short enough for youth riders and long enough for very leggy ones, too. There’s room for more holes if needed as well. This is a stout, heavy duty work horse of a saddle with a reinforced post horn that is currently cord wrapped.  Heavy, large ring rigging that is all reinforced, on a wood tree weighting all of 36lbs. This is a sharp saddle tool with outstanding tooling work, even on the roughed out leather. Finished off with fancy stitching on the black suede seat and finished with plenty of saddle strings. While this is a roper, this one has NOT been roped off of. While it has been used, it’s been well cared for. Leather is very soft! Shows a couple minor blemishes, mainly a bite mark on the near side swell from a naughty colt. The bite isn’t through the leather, but did disrupt the tooling on the swells. Other than that, shows minor/typical signs of use and wear. Comes with matching rear billets. This is a really nice rig!
