15″ Rocking R All Around Western Trail Saddle

We are smitten with this Rocking R trail saddle and you will be too once you sit in it! Sadly, Rocking R has closed its doors so these nice saddles are getting harder and harder to find, especially in this condition! This is a true all around type saddle, reinforced in the right places to hold up to a bit of harder work. While not a saddle to ranch off of, is one that you could drag a log or pony a colt with. Stamped 15″, fits a teeny bit smaller as it has a slightly raised twist, deep seat bed, and taller cantle–this one keeps you secure and comfortable. This one is build on our favorite Steele Saddle Equi-Fit tree (wood tree), which means it flares out a bit at the front of the tree, giving great clearance to your horse’s shoulder. Build on QH bars, fitting wide that measures 7″, with good flare and rock to the bars. Making this a great option for those curvier horses out there. Offers an equitation style skirt that gives a nice close contact feel. Fenders offer a ton of adjustment, going short enough for a petite rider, but still plenty long for a leggy one. Comes fitted with matching back cinch, latigos, and plenty of strings. This is a one owner saddle, and while older (purchased in the early 2000s), it has been well cared for. Yes, this one has seen plenty of ride time so shows some use, mainly in the form of a few scuffs and scrapes, and some inconsistent discoloration, but all purely cosmetic. There is some ugly scraping under the near side latigo keeper, but thankfully is quite well covered by the keeper. Clearly this saddle has been conditioned often as the leather is quite soft. This is an outstanding, quality, very well made saddle that is ready to find it’s next rider!
