15″ Vintage Silver Royal Equitation Show Saddle

This Silver Royal was made back when things were made right. Beautiful tooling, excellent leather, and the prettiest silver you’ve seen. This is an older saddle, but clearly VERY well cared for. Measures 15″ to stitching, but does fit a hair smaller with that nice deep seat and raised twist. Very much like a CY Park and Trail  and a show saddle had a love child-very pretty while still being a comfortable, ridable saddle. On what appears to be QH bars, measuring 6.5″ with a wide fork angle/flare and fitting flatter through the bars. Shorter skirt at just 26″, 3″ cantle and rawhide plaited horn. The leather is butter, butter soft in dark oil with incredible, large Sheridan style tooled flowers and oak leaves. Clearly hand tooled. Silver wrapped cantle and edge, all along the saddle and even the pommel. Single skirt so isn’t so darn heavy either. We haven’t pulled the silver to see if its marked, but likely is Alpaca with jewelers bronze floral accents with inlayed cubbies. The silver work on this saddle….we totally want to rob it off as its so unique and so tasteful. This one is an older saddle, given the style likely from the 1980’s, but has been taken care of and shows hardly normal wear. Just a few scuffs. This one is ready to hit the show pen and last for years to come!
