16.5″ Bob Marshall Genuine Sport Treeless Saddle

This is such a nice saddle, the perfect cross between a barrel, trail, and endurance saddle and perfect option for those heftier horses out there. This is a genuine Bob Marshall Sport Saddle, not a Circle Y made saddle, with the BM silver plate set on the near side. While this is an older saddle, it has been very lightly used and stored well. Too often, even when they aren’t used much, treeless saddles are stored incorrectly, which can compromise the shape. This one has been stored perfectly, showing zero creasing in the seat at all. Bob Marshall saddles are measured a bit differently, with the thigh space measured and an additional 6″ added. This one has a 10.5″ thigh space, so with the additional 6″, this one is a 16.5″. The seat, as measured traditionally measures 16″. We feel it fits true to 16.5″. This one nearly full rough out, making it very, VERY grippy. Has smooth leather cantle binding, horn, and fenders. The nylon backed fenders and rigging show hardly any wear at all, with no fraying that is sadly common with these saddles. Has a nice pair of lightweight composite stirrups added and leather rear cinch billets. Fenders have a TON of adjustment. When we say this one is lightly used, we mean it! It has spent most of its life in storage. We have gone over it, conditioned it, and it’s ready to go! It has a couple teeny darker spots on the rough out and on the near side top fender flap has what appears to be a crease line. It isn’t, rather is a natural defect/wrinkle in the leather that became a bit more obvious when it darkened a bit from conditioner. This is such a nice saddle, one that is perfect for horse propane tank shaped horses out there!
