16″ Continental Saddlery A-Fork Ranch Saddle

Is this the prettiest saddle…no. Is this the coolest saddle around….also no. Think of this saddle like the big kneed old red ranch gelding that many of us have in the pasture. Not the prettiest thing, has ugly legs, but is trust worthy and as hard working as any you’ll find. This 16″ Continental Saddlery Ranch Roper is an old one, and clearly been the trusted ride for some time. Heavy duty work saddle on a bullhide wrapped wood tree, on QH bars that measure 6.5″, offering ample wither clearance and moderate flare with a bit of rock, perfect for an athletic built horse. Built like a true rancher with A-fork swells, deep scoopy seat with pencil roll and raised twist. This one will keep you more than secure. Taller, post horn that measures 3.5″ that is reinforce right. It has seen a rope, but horn has always been wrapped so no rope burn. Slick seat, no tooling on this one, and comes fully rigged with plenty of strings too. Fenders have an insane amount of adjustment, going plenty long. Has a newer set of rawhide roper stirrups added. This saddle shows some wear. Has some discoloration to the leather, bit of rolling to the skirts, some scuffs and scrapes. However, the leather is plenty soft. This sucker is darn sound, and will hold up for decades more to come. This one is a trusty rusty and will get the job done without breaking the bank.
