16″ Hill View Farms Caliente Western Trail Saddle

We just love having these saddles in! Flex Panel saddles have a near cult following, and seeing this saddle, it is no wonder why! Made by Hill View Farms, the Caliente is one of their most popular models. It offers a great padded seat, low profile swells, foam thigh blocks to improve security, and butter soft leather. This is the perfect Western Dressage saddle, too! 16″ seat, however with the great padding, fits a just a bit smaller. Western horn that measures 2.5″, ample thigh space with super adjustable fenders that are free swinging. 4″ cantle, wider and deeper seat. Shorter length at just 25″, single skirt with the famed flex panels (panels measure 27″). Hill View took the design from Ortho Flex and improved it, offering active adjustment with each step your horse takes. Panels and bearings are in good condition, moving smoothly as they should. Comes with its booties/socks, which are used but still have lots of life left in them. We just scrubbed the heck out of them! Western, adjustable dropped center fire style rigging to open up the shoulders. No tooling on this one, in dark oiled leather. In well cared for condition. Leather is incredibly soft and supple. Does show a few minor blemishes, but overall minor. Has had extra long strings added. We are thrilled to have another great flex panel saddle in!
