17″ Circle Y Wood Tree Park and Trail

As you know, we love LOVE older Circle Y’s. This one is an oldie, but goodie, made when Circle Y was the standard among saddles. This saddle is the coolest combination of many of our favorite Circle Y’s. Per serial plate, this one is a Park and Trail. Butttt…In our opinion, this is a Roper simply cosplaying as a Park and Trail. This is a roping saddle, reinforced in all the right places and is a HEAVY DUTY work saddle. Is built on a fiberglass wrapped wood tree. This Circle Y Park and Trail is a true 17″, per serial number and measurement! Seriously! You can have a quality saddle that is plus size rider friendly! On what appears to be Semi Bars, measuring 6.5″ with a bit of rock and wide shoulder flare. Taller gullet height, giving ample wither clearance. This one will fit a horse well. Very deep seat pocket on this one, paired with a deeper cantle at 4″, this one rides securely. 28″ skirt, 3″ post horn, single rigging ring (7/8 rigged), and comes fitted. Fenders offer a TON of adjustability, easily accommodating a tall rider. This one is from 1996, but don’t tell it that. Clearly seeing very little ride time, and hasn’t been roped off of. Shows a few barn cat scratches and has an oil or water stain on the seat, but overall shows very little use at all. This isn’t a light saddle by any means, weighing in at about 35lbs, but is built to last. For a heavy duty saddle that will trail ride, rope, and dally–this is your saddle!
