Think of this as a stripped down Geo Metro with no power anything or even AC. This saddle doesn’t have knee rolls, knee or thigh blocks, nothing but your legs and equitation to keep you in the saddle. Often, this style saddle is not so fondly called a ‘pancake’ flap, meaning it has a completely flap flap with zero support. This saddle is from the team up of Collegiate and internationally acclaimed rider Lynn Palm, who is truly a master of classical riding and equitation. And who must have believed blocks and rolls were mere crutches. It is a incredibly well balanced and well made saddle. Even though it doesn’t have any blocks or rolls, the leather is lightly textured that does offer great grip. Is a true 16.5″ with a semi-deep seat and very narrow twist. On Collegiate’s medium tree, fitting true to that, measuring 4.5″. This saddle is youth friendly! While this is an older saddle, it has been very well cared for. Leather is quite soft, billets are in very good condition, and overall you’d never guess this one is an older saddle. Has a forward set flap that is perfect for popping over jumps but still long enough for flap riding and hunt classes. This honestly would be a great starter saddle or 4H/local show saddle. Especially at this price. Everyday is leg day with this saddle!
