This is a cool play on Martha Josey’s popular long shank banana gag bit by heck of a bit maker, Doyle Stanfill. Doyle is a 90-something year young cowboy who has an incredible history in the equine industry, proving age is just a number. His retirement gig has made him well known for his expert ironwork, making excellent balanced bits and spurs. While he is more recognized for his ‘pretty’ bits, this nice using bit is another example of his talent and craftsmanship. Offers a 5.5” larger link chain mouth with pinchless cheeks, set on a banana shank with gag action. Shanks measure 11 5/8” long. Nice balance on this bit.
